Master of Social Work graduates will be prepared as social work leaders capable of building sustainable, collaborative, health-promoting relationships, and communities.

The basic premise of this concentration is that literacy skills are central for all students to succeed. The Literacy concentration is designed for K-12 educators who wish to delve deeper into the importance of reading and writing for all students to be successful.

The Inclusion Education concentration is designed for educators, both teachers and administrators, who wish to delve into formal and informal procedures for assessing special needs students and explore methods and strategies for teaching all students in inclusion settings.

The Educational Leadership concentration curriculum matches the national standards set by the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISLLC) and provides entry-level knowledge and skills for beginning school administrators.

The CAGS is a post-master’s degree program of study leading to an educational administrative credential but also can be used to strengthen leadership abilities in master teachers.

The Curriculum & Instruction Strategies master’s degree is for K-12 educators who wish to advance knowledge of the challenging areas of literacy and inclusion. Courses on instructional leadership examine how one can impact curriculum beyond the single classroom.
