A successful applicant scores highly in four categories: academic profile, Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) scores, professional work experience, and personal qualities. However, there are many schools now that are realizing that the GMAT is an outdated test, and therefore dont require it for entrance. Read our MBA no GMAT guide to learn more. Most schools require applicants to have at least 4-5 years of work history under their belts, and applicants younger than 25 are usually not admitted, as they are not considered to have sufficient experience.
