About UF’s College of Pharmacy

The University of Florida College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education and has achieved national recognition as a model of quality educational practice in distance learning by the ACPE.

The College of Pharmacy consists of five departments: Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacodynamics, Pharmaceutical Outcomes & Policy, and Pharmacotherapy & Translational Research.

University of Florida College of Pharmacy research centers include the Center for Drug Discovery, the Center for the Neurobiology of Aging, the Center for Pharmacogenomics, the Center for Food-Drug Interaction Research and Education (CFDI), and the Infectious Disease Pharmacokinetics Laboratory

The University of Florida makes no distinction between the Doctor of Pharmacy credential earned by its campus-based students and that of its Working Professional Doctor of Pharmacy.
